Northwest Territories First Aid Kits

First Aid Regulations for the Northwest Territories fall under Schedule G, Subsections 58(1) and (4). Level of first aid kit is dependent on distance from the nearest medical facility and number of workers on site at one time.
How CSA Kits Comply
- A CSA Z1220 kit meets or exceeds the typical supply list—bandages, sterile dressings, PPE, etc.
- For higher-risk or remote operations, you may add advanced first aid supplies or specific gear (thermal blankets, specialized splints, etc.).
Differences to Note
- Neither territory explicitly adopts CSA Z1220 in legislation, but it’s recognized as a best-in-class standard.
- Always verify whether your site requires more robust “Wilderness” or “Remote” first aid solutions.
